My personal brand is best described as
‘heritage // contemporary’.

Art, design and a love for the finer things in life are something I’ve inherited from the women that define me; my mother and grandmother. They are deeply woven into my personal brand.

As someone who grew up fuller-sized than the average Indian girl, my mother taught me to develop a unique sense of style that celebrates the robust textile crafts of India, almost a coat of armor that makes me feel confident. The handcrafted silver accessories my grandmother wore in her days as a young college-goer are a treasured piece of my personal identity.

Presently, my practice speaks to my penchant for finding a place for elements from the past in our present and futures. Ideas, thoughts, value systems, textiles, aromas, and architecture rooted in centuries of history inspire my visual and design grammar. What I bring to them is a unique lens as someone that understands and appreciates the ever-evolving and truly cluttered lives of Millennials and Gen Z. Simplifying and demystifying ideas and making them cohesive, be it in the way I lead a creative team, design an identity for a luxury brand, or tell a compelling digital story, are intuitive to me.

  • Founded and headed a creative collective of photographers and designers to serve brand and identity design strategy, and support marketing needs of emerging, largely woman run brands.

    Built long term creative collaborations with founders of niche performance art, luxury wellness services, body positive fashion, luxury travel, fine dining, finance, technology, and personal coaching.

    Conceptualized and curated luxury travel experiences for groups like Young Professionals Organization, Entrepreneurs Organization and boutique travel aficionados in collaboration with CHE Experiences.

    Developed business strategy and brand management for renowned choreographer Mayuri Upadhya to expand her business from choreography to musicals, film and influencer marketing during the pandemic.

    Produced artwork and styled Cafe Southall, Australia, a fine dining experience that celebrates Indian cuisine.

    Created marketing, sales strategy, branding and packaging for LoveHandles&Co, a craft and body positive fashion label, including strategic in-situ marketing and storytelling that enhanced brand's reach.

    Designed a revival strategy and new business vertical set up for 20 year old heritage jewelry brand named Arnav, including branding, packaging, collaborator strategy and networking for JewelBox, an online and offline aggregator of mid-luxury Indian jewelry brands.

  • Founded Core Experience, an experience design studio managing luxury real estate, textile design, and hospitality brands.

    Recruited, grew and oversaw a team of eight architects, designers, and engineers. Programmed and defined the design vision for million dollar residences, Svasa Homes.

    Coordinated and managed senior creative consultants across architecture, landscape design, sustainability design, and material design and sourcing. Surpassed pre-sales targets and championed strategic marketing through storytelling.

    Restructured operations, marketing and sales, and maximized profits for The Tamarind Tree, a luxury heritage wedding venue, by expanding network of consultants and partner businesses while developing an optimized five year growth plan.

    Awarded for lateral thinking and leadership capabilities across Machani Group with a fully funded learning opportunity at Stanford School of Business.
